tHE manobo tribe did not like the japanese imposition of Samurai a feudal kind of government who collect portion of their harvest for the food supply of japanese army

Amando Ursos was tasked to command the Manobotribe contingent in the USAFEE , the US army in mindanao Amando Ursos was tasked to defend the Barobo Airfield at all cost.





Barobo aIRFIELD WAS ACTUALLY NOT AN AIRPROT it was sim[ly a corn field because B-29 bomber airplanes of the US navy were designed to land and to take off in the cornfields.
      General Douglas Mc Arthur tasked Mr Pearson of Alegria to purchase the cornfield from the Manobo natives.



TAGLIKID is located at he foot of Mt Magdiwataof the town of Sta Ana

    sta ana ( the old name of SanFrancisco Agusan Sur. It was here where MANDO uRSOS BECAME THE FIRST CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE TOWN AFTER THE WAR

       Amando Ursos had to report to the Camp Kasapa the US army barracks , the trail from Barobo to Camp Kasapa was through the Manag-as Creek leadin to Taglikid and Ebro. It was in this manner where Amando Ursos have discovered Taglikid AS THE NEW PARADISE OF URSOS PEOPLE OF BASDIAO BOHOL
